Viola odorata

Viola odorata is a low-growing perennial plant
native to Eurasia
and widely distributed throughout Greece,
on both the mainland and the islands.
It thrives in moist, shady habitats, including forests and shrublands,
at elevations of 200–1,500 m.

 It blooms from January to May
and produces fragrant violet flowers 13–15 mm across.
